⚠️ trigger warning, palm oil brigade look away. ⚠️


The rest of y'all get closer.


So I did create a palm oil based marinade and omg result was soooo good.



Ingredients I Used:

For 1.5 kg of Chicken Pieces I Used:


Wet paste Ingredients:


🧑🏾‍🍳 1 table palm oil.

🧑🏾‍🍳 1 teaspoon mustard.

🧑🏾‍🍳 1/2 teaspoon maple butter( can be substituted with maple syrup or honey).


For The Dry Rub :


🧑🏾‍🍳 1 teaspoon each of ( salt, white pepper ,onion powder, garlic powder, smoke paprika and dried oregano)


Methods:

🧑🏾‍🍳 Mix the dry rub with the paste then rub over the chicken. Cover and allow to marinade for about 1 hour in the fridge.


🧑🏾‍🍳 When ready to cook, take the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to get to room temperature.


🧑🏾‍🍳 Preheat the oven to 200°c and roast the chicken for 40 to 45 minutes or until fully cooked. Turn halfway through cooking and rub with its own juice.


🧑🏾‍🍳 Rest the meat for about 10 minutes before serving and enjoy 😋.
