Hey foodies 👋🏾
Here is how I made this delicious beef and veg stir fry.
For 4 people :
Ingredients I Used:
👨🏾🍳 800 g rump steak that I cut into long string.
👨🏾🍳 For the veg I usually use what I have and this time I used.
👨🏾🍳 2 spring onions.
👨🏾🍳 2 different colours peppers.
👨🏾🍳 200 g green beans.
👨🏾🍳 1 broccoli head.
👨🏾🍳 2 medium carrots.
👨🏾🍳 1 teaspoon each of garlic and ginger paste.
To Marinate The Meat I Used:
👨🏾🍳 1 teaspoon black pepper.
👨🏾🍳 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
👨🏾🍳 2 tablespoons cornflour.
👨🏾🍳 Allow the meat to marinate for 30 minutes or more at room temperature.
Stir-fry Sauce:
👨🏾🍳 250 ml vegetable stock.
👨🏾🍳 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
👨🏾🍳 2 teaspoons sesame seeds oil.
👨🏾🍳 1 teaspoon cornflour.
If you have a lots of meat, I will advise to stir fry them in batches so that they don't stew.
Methods:
👩🏾🍳 Add 3 tablespoons oil to a wok and heat to highest heat, add the beef and stir fry on high until ready to my liking then set aside.
👩🏾🍳 Add about 2 tablespoons oil in the same pan and again on high stir fry the vegetables to your liking, I like mine with a little crunch.
👩🏾🍳 Add the fried beef to the veg than add the sauce and continue frying until sauce has thickened.
👩🏾🍳 I added some pan toasted sesame seed but that is optional.
Served with a wholegrain jasmine and wild rice, it was so good.
