Guacamole

Hey foodies. Here is a no cooking required lunch idea if you love avocado.


I simply made a guacamole and served it with plantain crisp and a glass of mango juice. It was sooo good and ready in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients I Used:

For The Guacamole I Used:


🧑🏾‍🍳 2 medium ripe avocados.

🧑🏾‍🍳 1 small red ( purple) onion.

🧑🏾‍🍳 1 medium vine ripe tomato.

🧑🏾‍🍳 Juice of lemon or lime (1 tablespoon freshly squeezed if possible).

🧑🏾‍🍳 A handful of coriander ( used 1 teaspoon of dried coriander but fresh is always better).

🧑🏾‍🍳 1 minced garlic clove.

🧑🏾‍🍳 Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.


Methods:

🧑🏾‍🍳 Diced onion and put it in a big enough bowl. Add a pinch of salt and lemon juice to the diced onion. Put it aside while prepping the rest of the ingredients.


🧑🏾‍🍳 Dice the tomato, roughly mash the ripe avocados, chop the coriander and mince the garlic.


🧑🏾‍🍳 Add everything to the onion and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste and you can also add in some chilli flakes for some heat .


🧑🏾‍🍳 Serve and enjoy 😋.
