Whether you need a fast, healthy dinner, a meal to wow the crowd, or a simple protein that you can enjoy tonight and eat leftover the next day, this baked salmon recipe is for you!

Oven Baked Salmon Ingredients Used:

👩🏾‍🍳 1kg side of salmon skin on.

👩🏾‍🍳 1 teaspoon salt ( or to taste).

👩🏾‍🍳 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.

👩🏾‍🍳 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.

👩🏾‍🍳 1 table spoon freshly minced garlic.

👩🏾‍🍳 A few spring of fresh dill.

👩🏾‍🍳 Juice of half a lemon.

Methods:

👩🏾‍🍳 Preheat oven to 200° c.

👩🏾‍🍳 Put a large sheet of tin foil (large enough to enclose the fish) onto a large baking tray and brush with a little softened butter. Place salmon skin side down on the foil ( I used a baking paper as I do not like to cook directly on foil but that is just optional).

👩🏾‍🍳 Rub top of the salmon with salt and black pepper and set aside.

👩🏾‍🍳 Mix together melted butter with minced garlic and a handful of dill than pour over the salmon.

👩🏾‍🍳 Squeeze juice of half a lemon over. Tightly seal the foil into a parcel leaving a gap at the top to allow the fish to steam.

👩🏾‍🍳 Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes, after remove from the oven, open the foil and turn oven to grill mode and grill on high for 3 to 5 minutes (keep an eye on it to avoid burning). After 5 minutes remove from oven, allow the fish to rest for a few minutes before serving.

👩🏾‍🍳 Serve and enjoy 😋 .
