Oven Baked Salmon

Oven Baked Salmon Ingredients Used:

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ 1kg side of salmon skin on.

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ 1 teaspoon salt ( or to taste).

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ 1 table spoon freshly minced garlic.

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ A few spring of fresh dill.

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Juice of half a lemon.


Methods:

šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Preheat oven to 200Ā° c.


šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Put a large sheet of tin foil (large enough to enclose the fish) onto a large baking tray and brush with a little softened butter. Place salmon skin side down on the foil ( I used a baking paper as I do not like to cook directly on foil but that is just optional).


šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Rub top of the salmon with salt and black pepper and set aside.


šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Mix together melted butter with minced garlic and a handful of dill than pour over the salmon.


šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Squeeze juice of half a lemon over. Tightly seal the foil into a parcel leaving a gap at the top to allow the fish to steam.


šŸ‘©šŸ¾ā€šŸ³ Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes, after remove from the oven, open the foil and turn oven to grill mode and grill on high for 3 to 5 minutes (keep an eye on it to avoid burning). After 5 minutes remove from oven, allow the fish to rest for a few minutes before serving.
